We didn’t just want to make Italian food. We wanted to know every detail, every story behind what we were serving. So, we’ve traveled through Italy and learned from the masters. Here’s every secret we brought back…

We also partner with a few friends from Italy who regularly share their local traditions on our blog. Go check their posts and learn everything about Italian food!

When you think of Mediterranean Thanksgiving recipes, I’m sure your mind goes to a nice Greek cuisine-styled charcuterie board. One with tons of kalamata olives, pita chips, feta cheese, greek herbs, pine nuts, etc. But what if I told you that the Mediterranean diet is much more broad than that?

I recently got the opportunity to interview the marketing team behind the popular Italian foods brand, Botticelli Foods. This company is a powerhouse for all things Italian food, selling their specialty products all around the country, directly from their production facilities throughout the Mediterranean.

My mother and grandmother took it upon themselves to use my cooking lessons as a simultaneous alphabet lesson. I used to have so much fun doing this with my family, so I hope that by giving you this list, you’ll be able to carry on these same traditions with your little ones.

For many Italians of my generation, la mattonella (or "Lu mattò," in my dialect) is a treasured childhood memory. And if you've never heard of it, I'll take care of it today.

If you’re a New England native, odds are you’ve been to Mystic, Connecticut. It’s so close to so many things. Beaches, shipyards, an iconic aquarium, and not to mention the world famous Mystic Pizza. Surprisingly enough, for how small and quaint the little town is, there are also a great amount of breweries. Here are my favorite ones.

So whether you live in the beautiful condos of Meriel Marina Bay or are just visiting the hidden gem for a classic waterfront dining experience, Marina Bay is the perfect spot to enjoy exquisite New England-inspired plates and a wide selection of pub-style appetizers. Here are the best spots to check out!
