Chuck happily holding a lot of Calabrian chili peppers

We didn’t just want to make Italian food. We wanted to know every detail, every story behind what we were serving. So, we’ve traveled through Italy and learned from the masters. Here’s every secret we brought back…

We also partner with a few friends from Italy who regularly share their local traditions on our blog. Go check their posts and learn everything about Italian food!

I have a sweet potato recipe that’s really awesome. It’s a simple recipe with a few different uses. It can be a great side dish if you serve it with roasted chicken or pork chops. It’s also a main course if you turn it into a sweet potato hash with a fried egg on top.

Are you looking to start eating better? I am about to tell you what I think you should have in your fridge at all times when you need a delicious side dish to go with any meal.

I’ve been on a mission to find the best french onion soup in New England. For about the past year, every restaurant I go to, if there’s a French onion soup on the menu, I’m ordering it. There’s actually a good reason behind this adventure. It’s not only because I love the delicious caramelized onions, beefy broth and melted gruyere cheese. I want to know if the French Kiss Sub at Mortadella Head is the best it can be! I want to make Julia Child proud!

If you are a big fan of Italian food and want to whip up your own traditional Italian Feast of the Seven Fishes, here is a list of some dishes you should make. You don’t have to be Italian or Italian-American to have your own Christmas Eve dinner. Just roll up your sleeves, pour yourself a nice glass of red wine and start cooking some of your own Christmas traditions.

I’ve made calamari in many different ways and I strongly believe that sauteed calamari is my favorite. Here's a great recipe to try at home!
