  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (use the eagle brand!)

  • 1 cup butterscotch chips 
  • 3 ½ oz coconut flakes – or shredded coconut
  • 1 cup chopped nuts – I prefer chopped pecans or hazelnuts 
  • Sprinkle of sea salt

Tip: Use 1/2 semi-sweet chocolate chips and 1/2 and 1/2 dark chocolate chips to reduce the sweetness in your bars – unless you love it sweet, then go ahead as described above!

Alternative Ingredients:

  • Graham cracker crumbs – Crushed chex rice and corn cereal, crushed chocolate sandwich cookies, gluten-free graham crackers, crushed pretzels,  crushed shortbread cookies, oreo cookies, gluten-free cookie crust
  • Nuts – Almonds, macadamia nuts, cashews, or nut-free options
  • Chocolate chips – Milk chocolate, semisweet, white chocolate, peanut butter chips, caramel bits
  • Vanilla extract – almond extract, coconut extract
  • Coconut shavings – Cranberries, cinnamon chips, toasted coconut
  • Condensed milk – Dulce de leche, caramel sauce, dairy-free condensed milk

  • Drizzle the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the top layer, make sure to not drench the bars in it – you can use a spatula to help distribute it easier.

  1. Can u please re explain the “tip”. It says to make less sweet, use 1/2 semisweet chocolate chips and I didn’t understand what you meant by “half and half dark chocolate chips”. ?? Thank you!
