How to Store Garlic in Olive Oil

  • Author: Tessa Bronner

Ingredients

Fresh garlic cloves, peeled

Extra virgin olive oil

Instructions

  1. Fill a clean, dry mason jar with peeled garlic cloves.
  2. Pour olive oil into the jar to completely submerge the garlic cloves in oil.
  3. Secure a lid onto the jar and label it with the date.
  4. Store the jar in the fridge for up to seven days. Do not store garlic in olive oil at room temperature.
  5. If you are unable to use the garlic within seven days, freeze it in the olive oil for long-term storage.
