Zesty Golden Italian Dressing | Best Homemade Salad Dressing

Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • ¼ cup white wine vinegar
  • Juice and zest of 1 lemon
  • 1 small shallot
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 teaspoon mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt

Instructions

  1. Combine all of the ingredients in a blender or food processor. Blend on high for a few seconds, until the shallot and garlic are pulverized and the dressing is smooth.
  2. Transfer to a mason jar and use as salad dressing or marinade. Store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks and give it a good shake before using.
