Ingredients
Scale
1 quart of heavy cream
1 stick of butter
2 cups of grated parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoons pepper
1 tablespoon of finely chopped garlic
Instructions
- Add butter to sauce pan and turn on medium-low heat
- Add garlic when butter starts to foam and saute for 2 minutes
- Add cream and bring to a simmer
- Add grated parmesan and stir with whisk until cheese is incorporated.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Turn heat to low and let simmer for 5 minutes
- Remove from heat
- Allow it to cool and store in an airtight container
- Prep Time: 5 minutes
- Cook Time: 10 minutes
