Ingredients
Scale
- 1/2 cup Balsamic Vinegar
- 1/4 cup Olive Oil
- 2 teaspoons Garlic Powder
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 2 tablespoons Italian Seasoning
- 3 tablespoons Brown Sugar or Honey
Instructions
- Prepare the Marinade: In a small bowl, combine balsamic vinegar, olive oil, garlic powder, black pepper, Italian seasoning, and brown sugar (or honey). Whisk until all the ingredients are well blended.
- Marinate the Chicken: Place boneless skinless chicken breasts or thighs in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, making sure each piece is evenly coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours for deeper flavor.
- Grill the Chicken: Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade, letting excess drip off. Discard the remaining marinade. Grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C), and the meat shows clear grill marks. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving to retain its juices.
