Easy Basil Pesto Recipe with Pine Nuts

Ingredients

Scale

2 cups of fresh basil leaves

2 tablespoons of pine nuts

2 cloves of fresh garlic

½ cup of extra virgin olive oil

½ cup of freshly grated parmesan cheese

Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Add basil, garlic, pine nuts, salt and pepper to food processor or blender.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. With machine still running, slowly drizzle in the olive oil.
  4. Transfer ingredients from the blender to a bowl and fold in the grated cheese.
  5. Enjoy!
