Ingredients
Scale
3 tbsp olive oil
1 can crushed red tomatoes
1/2 onion, chopped
1 celery stock, diced
1/2 carrot, shredded
4 cloves of garlic
2 oz pancetta, shredded
2 oz mortadella, shredded
1/4 lb ground beef
1/4 lb ground pork
1 cup white wine
1/2 cup basil leaves
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Heat up olive oil in a sauté pan
- Add your veggies and let sauté
- Add mortadella and pancetta, let simmer for 3 minutes
- Add pork and beef, let cook
- Add white wine, and let reduce to about half
- Add crushed tomatoes, parmesan, and half of the basil leaves, let simmer for three hours, stirring occasionally
- Serve over pasta, top with cheese and the rest of the basil leaves
- Enjoy!
