Lobster Grilled Cheese Recipe; The Best Sandwich

Ingredients

  • The meat from two lobsters, cooked and chopped into little chunks
  • 1 cup of cheddar cheese
  • 4 bread slices, I used scala bread
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 tsp onion salt
  • 1 tsp crushed red pepper

Instructions

  1. Combine the salt, pepper, oregano, thyme, onion salt, and crushed red pepper in a small cup with a fork.
  2. Add the spice mix to your lobster meat. Mix well.
  3. In a large nonstick skillet over medium low heat, melt half of the butter. Place a slice of bread down, and then add half of the seasoned lobster meat and half of the cheese.
  4. Place the other slice on top, and cover the pan. Let cook for 2-3 minutes or until the bottom of the bread is crispy.
  5. Flip the bread over and continue the process on the other side, adding more butter to the pan if necessary, making sure to take the sandwich out when the cheese is melted and the bread is crispy.
  6. Repeat this process as many times as needed to make as many sandwiches as you’d like.
  7. Serve with potato chips and coleslaw.
