Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups fresh, seedless watermelon chunks (about half a watermelon) [affiliate link to watermelon on a grocery store website?]
  • 23 tablespoons lime juice (depending on the sweetness of your watermelon)
  • 12 tablespoons maple syrup (optional, to taste)

Instructions

  1. Using a high-powered blender or food processor, blend the watermelon chunks until smooth.
  2. Give your watermelon puree a taste. If it’s a bit too tart, add some maple syrup a tablespoon at a time until you reach your desired sweetness.
  3.  Pour the watermelon mixture into your Ninja CREAMi pint container, filling it to just below the max fill line.
  4.  Attach the lid assembly to the pint container and place it in the freezer for at least 24 hours.
  5. After freezing, take your pint container out and remove the storage lid. Place it in the outer bowl lid, then position the bowl assembly in your Ninja CREAMi machine.
  6. Select the “Sorbet” function and let it rip.
  7. Use the “Re-spin” button for a second spin.
  8. Scoop your delicious watermelon sorbet into bowls and enjoy.
