Ingredients

  • 1 (4-5 pound) bone-in pork shoulder roast (Boston butt)
  • 2 cups of your favorite barbecue sauce

Instructions

  1. Place the pork roast in your slow cooker.
  2. Pour the barbecue sauce over the top of the pork roast, coating it evenly.
  3. Set your slow cooker to low and cook for 8-10 hours, or until the pork is fork-tender and shreds easily.
  4. Once cooked, remove the pork roast from the slow cooker and let it rest for 15 minutes.
  5. Using two forks, shred the pork into bite-sized pieces.
  6. Toss the shredded pork in the remaining barbecue sauce from the slow cooker.
  7. Serve immediately on hamburger buns, in tacos, bowls, or your favorite way!
