Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine the extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Adjust the ratio to taste, but starting with 1/2 cup of olive oil and 2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar provides a balanced flavor profile.
- Add Garlic. Mince the fresh garlic cloves and add them to the oil and vinegar mixture.
- Sprinkle in the kosher salt and black pepper to enhance the overall flavor. For those who enjoy a bit of heat, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
- Finely chop the fresh rosemary and basil, and stir them into the mixture.
